[Ticketing]  [Cashless Payment, EMVco]  [ABT-IDBT]  [Tracking  / ITCS]  [Passenger Information]  [Communication]  [Back Office]  [Integration]  [Ticketing + Payment]  [Support]

Part of the standard system is the text messages communication between the vehicles and the dispatcher.

The dispatcher can send pre-defined or individual messages to one or more vehicles, to one or more drivers or to one or more lines. Then these messages are indicated to the respective receiver (vehicle, driver …) at the respective on-board computers.

The driver can send pre-defined message to the dispatcher. The possible messages are defined within the back office system configuration. The messages are displayed to the dispatcher.

All outgoing and incoming messages are archived at the back office system.

Voice communication is possible also. Then usually an additional GSM/UMTS modem will be integrated into the vehicle including driver microphone, loudspeaker and interface to the vehicle computer system to manage these voice calls. Herewith voice calls from the dispatcher to the vehicle and reverse are possible.

As alternative to the GSM standard we offer as well VoIP solutions, if UMTS or LTE is well available.

Emergency calls for example to the dispatcher, to the police or any other organisation is possible also. Furthermore it is possible to attach a hidden attack button to the vehicle to trigger these emergency calls.

If desired other communication systems like DMR or Tetra can be intergrated as well.
