ON-BOARD COMPUTER SYSTEM

The on-board vehicle computer system is the base unit for the driver. It is a very reliably and state-of-the-art system and is made specific for vehicle environments. It can be installed at the driver’s working place easily. The minimum necessary interfaces consist of a power line and a roof antenna for the data communication via GPRS/UMTS/HSPA and GPS for real-time vehicle location information. If desired the vehicle computer can be interfaced to third party systems like destination displays, stop announcement displays, voice announcement systems or validators for ticketing. The vehicle computer can be used as well stationary at customer service centres, sales outlets or kiosk locations.

Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) / Ticketing
 - Paper ticket sales based on various tariff models.
